During Spring Break, the Bookstore will be open 9 am- 4 pm. (Not the usual hours of operations)

Burger Studio & Topio’s, in the UCC Den, have NEW Secret Menus! Stop in and ask about them today. Also, come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Z6 Dining Hall this Thursday from noon to 2 pm.

Do you know any UWG Young Alumni who are accomplishing great things in their career or community? If so, consider nominating them to our new list of 30 under 30 accomplished young alumni. The recent graduate must have graduated within the past 10 years and be 30 years old or younger as of March 15, 2013, and have made a documentable impact in business, education, leadership, government, research, service, or other area. Submissions must be made by someone other than the nominee. From the nominations, we will select the top 30 young alumni who best fit the program's criteria. Events:

The League of Women Voters of Carrollton - Carroll County is sponsoring a special program on 'Veteran Suicide Prevention'. It will be on Monday, March 18th, at 6:30 pm at the Commission Chambers of the David Perry County Administration Building, located at 423 College Street in Carrollton. Please contact Annelle Colevins for more information.

The Geosciences Club is hosting the AEG (Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists) Jahns Distinguished Lecture on Monday, March 25, at 3 pm, in the Callaway Building, Rm 245. The speaker, Dr. James McCalpin, will talk on “The Mountains are Falling Apart; A Spectrum of Mass Failures from Landslides through Deep-Seated Gravitational Spreading (Sackung), to "Unfolding" of Folds”. The Center for Student Involvement is happy to announce that UWG’s next concert will be on Friday, April 19, in the Coliseum, with Neon Trees, Phillip Phillips, and Twenty-One Pilots. Doors will open at 7 pm, and the show will start at 8 pm. Tickets are on sale NOW! Tickets for UWG students/staff/faculty are $15 plus tax in advance, and $20 plus tax on the day of the show. Tickets for the public are $25 plus tax in advance, and $30 plus tax on the day of the show. UWG National Alumni Association presents the 37th Annual Alumni Awards Gala on Saturday, April 20, at 6 pm at the Townsend Center for the Performing Arts.
