The Ingram Library at the University of West Georgia will be closed on Friday, March 19, at 6 p.m., and reopen at 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 28. The closing coincides with the spring semester break and the demolition work scheduled for the ongoing renovation project.
The library will provide telephone reference services Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 678-839-6495 and through an online chat at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parrish Construction will begin the first major demolition phase of the renovation project, cutting through concrete flooring to install two elevator shafts and a temporary workers' stairwell. This dangerous and noisy construction phase has been scheduled during the spring break to minimize the inconvenience to the campus.
