Native American Author Visits

The University of West Georgia will celebrate Native American Month with guest speaker Dr. Stephen Graham Jones on Monday, November 9. Jones will present a reading in the Bonner Lecture Hall at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and the community is invited to attend.The University of West Georgia will celebrate Native American Month with guest speaker Dr. Stephen Graham Jones on Monday, November 9. Jones is a contemporary fiction writer and author of seven novels and short story collections including “The Fast Red Road: A Plain Song,” “All the Beautiful Sinners” and “The Long Trial of Nolan Dugatti.” Some of his novels and short stories will be available at the reading.

A Blackfeet Native American, Jones teaches English at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Information about his work can be found at www.stephengrahamjones.net.
