Marching Band Performs Varsity Show

The University of West Georgia Marching Band, “The Sound That Lights the South,” is presenting their annual indoor spectacular concert on Wednesday, November 4, at 8:15 p.m. in the Townsend Center for the Performing Arts. Admission is $5, $3 for senior citizens and free for students and faculty with a valid UWG ID.

Admission is $5, $3 for senior citizens and free for students and faculty with a valid UWG ID.Experience all of the pageantry, visual effects and routines of the UWG Marching Band on stage.  Music from the season will be presented along with new dance moves and guard displays not seen before. The band will have exciting visual and sound effects to enhance the performance.

This is the “must see” event of the band season. Special effects, music, dancing and top-notch entertainment are all involved whenever the UWG Marching Band performs. Admission is $5, $3 for senior citizens, and free for students and faculty with a valid UWG ID.
