The University of West Georgia and the College of Arts and Sciences awarded four outstanding professors for their work on campus and in the classroom.

Arts and Sciences Dean George Kieh congratulated Dr. Cathi Jenks, assistant professor of criminology, Dr. Dan Williams, assistant professor of history, Dr. Scott Sykes, associate professor of mathematics, and Dr. Patrick Erben, assistant professor of English, on receiving this prestigious Excellence in Teaching Award.
