Known for his vibrant colors and strong strokes of the brush, internationally renowned artist Steve Penley presented a recently commissioned work depicting the new UWG Greek Village to the University of West Georgia Foundation.
Penley’s work is primarily acrylic with a distinct style easily recognizable. To view his work, go to Matre Gallery in Buckhead.
The Greek Village is the newest addition to the UWG campus and offers housing for fraternity and sorority members.
Randall Redding, past chair of the UWG Foundation Board of Trustees and general contractor for R.K. Redding Construction, Inc., the company responsible for building the new complex, commissioned the work.
