Professor Emeritus of History John Ferling, prolific author and historian, will be interviewed on “In Depth,” a program on C-SPAN’s Book TV on the C-Span2 channel.
Ferling will discuss his latest book, “The Ascent of George Washington: The Hidden Political Genius of an American Icon.“ Ferling, who taught at UWG for 33 years, released the book in late May.

Ferling is the author of 10 books, including “Almost a Miracle: The American Victory in the War of Independence,” for which the American Revolution Roundtable of New York presented Ferling with the Lifetime Achievement Award and with the Best Book on the American Revolution Award in 2007.
