The University of West Georgia and the Department of Art will host the exciting "Kitsch Klocks: High Art and Low Art Collide," a mixed media collection of UWG art professor Clint Samples.
The exhibit opens in the Bruce Bobick Gallery on Monday, July 6, and will close with a reception on Friday, July 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Samples, an alumna of UWG and protégé of retired art department chair and professor, Bruce Bobick, teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in drawing, painting, printmaking, digital media and web design.
Samples and several students in his digital media web class received recognition when three of their tee shirt designs were chosen as finalists for the annual Peachtree Road Race. The winner will be announced on July 4.
Much of his work features watercolor as a medium.
