West Georgia Hosts Blood Drive

Bragging rights are up for grabs at today’s Blood Drive in the Campus Center. West Georgia is competing against Valdosta State.

Bragging rights are up for grabs at today’s Blood Drive in the Campus Center. West Georgia is competing against Valdosta State. The goal is 156 pints.

West Georgia has held the trophy since the UWG Wolves were the West Georgia College Braves.

That’s what it says on the trophy, said Cheryl Cash, administrative assistant at the Campus Center.

After this blood drive a new trophy will be in the offing. So, roll up your sleeves to make sure the new trophy says the University of West Georgia.

The blood drive starts at 12 p.m. today and ends at 6 p.m. It will be in the back gym of the Campus Center. All donors get a free T-shirt and snacks.

The drive is sponsored by SGA and GSS National Service Sorority.
