Jazz fans will not want to miss the UWG Jazz Ensemble’s spring concert on Thursday, March 26, at 8:15 p.m. in the Townsend Center for the Performing Arts. Admission is free and the community is invited to attend.
A variety of talent will be on display including percussion, horn and vocals. The selections the ensemble will perform include “Love for Sale,” “Out of Nowhere” and a little Thelonious Monk thrown in.
The UWG Jazz Ensemble features a variety of talent from the Department of Music. This year’s concert will feature Nandani Persaud singing Thelonius Monk’s “Round Midnight” and “Brazil” by Ary Barroso.
