High school students and their families are invited to a Free Application for Financial Student Aid Night on Tuesday, March 24, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the University of West Georgia.

The workshop will take place in the Technology-enhanced Learning Center, Room 1112, and is designed for high school seniors, UWG students and any citizen with a social security card.

Financial Aid volunteers will be on hand to help students complete their FAFSA form. Tax returns, a registered personal identification number and other records are required to complete an application. To view what to bring to FAFSA Night, go to the UWG financial aid website at www.westga.edu/finaid/.

The PIN is necessary to sign the FAFSA electronically and it is recommended that applicants register for the PIN as soon as possible at

Created by the U.S. Department of Education, FAFSA ensures that eligible individuals can benefit from federal funding or federally guaranteed financial assistance for education beyond their high school years.
