Students Sing Their Way to Broadway

“An Evening of Musical Theatre,” starring the UWG Opera Workshop opens tonight at 8:15 p.m. with an encore performance on Thursday, Oct. 23, in Kathy Cashen Recital Hall in the Humanities Building. The event is free and the community is invited to attend.

“An Evening of Musical Theatre,” starring the UWG Opera Workshop opens tonight at 8:15 p.m. with an encore performance on Thursday, Oct. 23, in Kathy Cashen Recital Hall in the Humanities Building. The event is free and the community is invited to attend.Under the direction of Dr. Larry Frazier, professor of music, Broadway and Hollywood are coming to UWG. The ensemble will perform selections from the most famous musicals in the world including “Annie Get Your Gun,” “Wicked,” “White Christmas” and “Oklahoma!”

The music department programs have received national recognition in “Creative Colleges,” a college guidebook for students interested in pursuing a degree in the arts.
