Carroll-Haralson Medical Alliance Establishes Scholarship

Members of the Carroll-Haralson Medical Alliance established a scholarship for students in the University of West Georgia School of Nursing that will assist non-traditional nursing students from Carroll and Haralson Counties. Members of the Carroll-Haralson Medical Alliance established a scholarship for students in the University of West Georgia School of Nursing that will assist non-traditional nursing students from Carroll and Haralson Counties. Celebrating the signing are Dr. Andrew Leavitt, associate vice president of Development and Alumni Relations and executive director of the University of West Georgia Foundation, Inc.; Dr. Kathryn Grams, professor of nursing and founding Dean of the School of Nursing; and Alliance members Susan Fleck, Erica Greene and Nichole Pezold. The goal of the Alliance is to better the communities where members live through community service and health promotion programs.
