UWG Assists in River Cleanup Efforts

Faculty, staff and students from the University of West Georgia joined cleanup efforts in the tenth annual Little Tallapoosa River Cleanup. Sponsored by the UWG Department of Geosciences, the Upper Tallapoosa Watershed Group and Rivers Alive, the cleanup brought 62 volunteers to the Little Tallapoosa in Carrollton and Indian Creek in Bowdon.Faculty, staff and students from the University of West Georgia joined cleanup efforts in the tenth annual Little Tallapoosa River Cleanup.
