James Janis Joins UWG

The University of West Georgia has hired James Janis as the new associate director of development for the College of Arts and Sciences and the Ingram Library.

Janis received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art history from the State University of New York at Buffalo. His experience includes teaching at the Princeton Review, Buffalo State College, and the State University of New York at Buffalo.

“We are pleased to have James on staff,” said Nicole Worthington, director of development. “His background and perspective will be a valuable asset to the university.”

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations acts as a focal point for alumni and donor activities that support the higher education goals of West Georgia.
