UWG Career Services will host its annual Graduate and Professional School Fair in the Campus Center Ballroom on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Wanda McGukin, director of Career Services, encourages anyone considering a graduate degree to come to the fair. “If you are graduating soon or have already graduated but desire to continue your education, this fair is a great opportunity to explore not only the great programs UWG offers but also those of schools from around the country.”
Over fifty graduate and professional school representatives from across the nation will share information on their academic programs in the fields of law, health services, business, communication, education and more.
“We’ve seen an increase of interest in graduate or professional school programs from people who are in transition with employment,” said McGukin. “Earning an advanced degree could be the way to change career fields, to improve your competitiveness in today’s job market or simply to develop additional skills for your current job.”
The UWG Graduate and Professional Fair is free and open the public. No pre-registration is required to attend, but professional attire is requested of participants.
