Additionally, UWG’s individual scores increased as well. The student selectivity ranking increased by five points, and the peer assessment rating went from a 2.7 to a 2.9. The Richards College of Business ranking increased significantly as well, and UWG was once again included on the “Best Online Bachelor Programs” list with an especially impressive faculty credentials and training ranking of fourth overall.
“The increase in rankings is a direct reflection on our continuing progress on many fronts that affect student success and progress,” said Dr. Scot Lingrell, vice president for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. “It is the result of the great work of our faculty and staff, and their commitment to help students attain at the highest levels possible.”
Earlier this year, the College of Education saw an increase in graduate ratings in the US News & World Report “Best Education Schools” list. In February, UWG was ranked sixth in the nation for US News & World Report’s “Best Online Graduate Computer Information Technology Programs” with the highest overall ranking for both faculty credentials and training and student services and technology.
