Advanced Academy Alumni Survey

We are actively seeking all Academy alumni and alumnae and encourage everyone reading this web site to make a point of contacting us on a regular basis so we can keep track of your whereabouts. Help us find your fellow students. We have not grown so large that we no longer remember your names and faces. As a matter of fact, memories of students from the earlier years will probably stay with Academy staffers well into our, and perhaps your, dotage! We often reminisce, laugh, and shake our heads (sometimes simultaneously) when we remember events of previous years. Our affection for you is undiminished by time.

We would like to know where you are now; if you've graduated from an undergraduate, graduate, or professional program; if you've married or have a significant other; how you feel about your Academy experience in retrospect (was it helpful in the long- and short-terms?); and your favorite stories about Academy life. We will print in future newsletters (printable) stories that you tell us, and will occasionally highlight alumni, thus providing a means for you to keep in touch with former classmates.

To make telling us your current information easy for you, we have included an Alumni Survey that is found below.

1. What do you remember most about the Academy?

2. As you look back, do you think your experience in the Academy or your acceleration through high school helped you in or through your post high school pursuits? Was it beneficial (on the whole, entirely, or not at all)?

3. Do you have any regrets?

4. From your current perspective, do you see areas where the Academy and its program could be improved in terms of your preparation for the next step?

5. What other improvements would you suggest for the Academy program as you experienced it?

6. What did we do right? What do you appreciate most about your Academy experience?

7. Are you where you thought you would be and doing what you thought you would be doing post Academy?

8. Do you have an immediate goal towards which you are currently working? Have you found any new interests or consuming passions lately?
