Gunn Hall, an award winning residence hall, has been home to the Advanced Academy of Georgia since its inception. Gunn Hall was named after William Gunn, a noted member of the West Georgia academic community. Gunn Hall has some of the nicest amenities on campus including: new furniture and carpet, freshly painted floors and rooms, clean bathrooms, new recreation equipment (ping-pong and pool table), and other technological enhancements such as a flat screen TV with a gaming console and DVD player. All of this is possible because of the generous support provided to the Honors College and Housing and Residence Life.
Gunn Hall doesn’t just provide an amazing facility; it also provides Honors College and Academy students with a smaller, more personal environment than many of the larger residence halls on campus. Because of this personal attention and its exceptional hall community, students who spend a year in Gunn have memories that will last a life time and continually request to return!
