In the first week of lectures please sign on for a tutorial class and practical

In subsequent weeks, copies of various handouts will be made available here.
Because they include lots of mathematics, they may be in a postscript (.ps)
format. To be able to display them or print them, you will need a
program which can understand postscript. See the bottom of this document
for one, for PCs running Windows 95/98.

and Ghostscri pt - an interpreter and graphical interface for the
PostScript (TM) language (3.33mb)

If you are still having trouble with the formats of the lecture notes for mt152
there is an updated version of ghostscript at the following address. The new
version converts the .ps files to .pdf file and still keeps the matlab images.
