fulfordOver the last two decades, Ray Fulford has shown how much he cares about the University of West Georgia. The founder of RA-LIN & Associates, Inc., a general construction company located in Carrollton, Fulford has donated a great deal of time and resources to the institution.

Fulford is also a driving force behind constructing a stadium at UWG. He is a major contributor in the endeavor and is actively involved on the Stadium Development Committee.

He deeply cares about the West Georgia community’s economic future. He donated the land on which the new Cultural Arts Center sits, he serves on the State Board of Economic Development and he was a past chairman of “A Stronger Economy” committee for Carroll Tomorrow.

Fulford worked directly with the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and local governments in bringing industries such as CBS, Precision Roll Grinders, Richmond Bros., Wal-Mart.com and Janus Industries to Carroll County.

“My goal is to help develop West Georgia into a better place to live and work through improving our economy and quality of life,” said Fulford.

He is the recipient of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce 2000 Horizon Award and the Carroll Tomorrow and Carroll County Chamber of Commerce 2001 Meritorious Service Award. He is also a 2002 honoree of UWG’s Beta Gamma Sigma chapter.

He and his wife Linda have been married since 1966. They have two daughters and six grandchildren.
