Alumni
The University of West Georgia is more than just a campus, a faculty and a student body. It is also a legacy of the alumni who helped to make it what it is and who, by their achievements and their loyal support, help to ensure a bright future.
Success breeds success, and West Georgia graduates have proven themselves successful in almost any imaginable human endeavor. Through their successes, the university continues to grow in stature and the value of a West Georgia education continues to increase, thus ensuring that success-oriented students will continue to choose UWG.
Alumni serve in other ways, though, and many have chosen to continue their close association with the university long past graduation, by serving on the Alumni Board of directors, by volunteering to help with fundraising events like A DAY for West Georgia, by giving gifts of cash, property, scholarships or endowments, and by service to the University of West Georgia Foundation. Because of their efforts, West Georgia graduates are among the university’s most valuable assets, now and in the future.
