Media Day is an opportunity for University of West Georgia Mass Communications students to speak firsthand with professionals in their field. Representatives from regional and metro Atlanta media outlets offer tips and advice in public relations, journalism, broadcasting and production. UWG Mass Communications alumni are also on hand for panel discussions, networking opportunities and an honors luncheon. Don't miss out on this fun and informative day.

Media Day is also a time for the Mass Communications program to honor students with Awards of Excellence in Print Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Public Relations, Media Production and Academic Excellence (highest GPA). Furthermore, students who have participated in professional growth and development activities outside the classroom by doing an internship, working with campus media or volunteering/working for a media organization are recognized.
