Learning Objectives

The activities and games on these pages were designed to assist students in learning and understanding more about nutrition and how it affects their bodies.

Using these pages, students will be able to: 
name the five food groups;
explain why each of the food groups are important in their daily diet;
classify different foods into the correct food group;
calculate the amount of servings needed to reach a desired daily intake;
create their own healthy meal;
and rate a meal as being healthy or not healthy.
