Accreditation

The University of West Georgia holds accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the Department of Art currently holds a 10 year Associate Accreditation from the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), and the Art Education Program within the Department holds accreditation through the National Council for Accreditation of  Teacher Education  (NCATE). The Department is seeking the resources to acquire accreditation for the Interior Design Program through The Foundation for Interior Design Education Research (FIDER).
