Art Education
The Art Education area offers two options for obtaining teacher certification for Art in the Georgia public school system. The BFA Certification curriculum provides all courses necessary for certification as well as broad, basic training in studio art methods. Initial Certification provides certification to a student who has already completed the BFA requirements in a studio art area. Both options give the recipient a K through 12 certification. Classroom observation and student teaching experience are a required part of the curriculum.
