Art History
The BA in Art History, with courses ranging from Antiquity to the Contemporary era, is a good basis for graduate study in Art History and in other disciplines where training in liberal arts and critical thinking are valued, and for careers where knowledge of art, art history, and artistic principles are applied. Majors study four chronological periods in Western art, a non-Western art area, a foreign language, and a minor area, either academic or studio. An annual statewide Art History Forum features undergraduate student research projects.
