Degrees & Programs
UWG Department of Art offers four year B.A. degrees in Studio Art, Art History and Pre-Medical Illustration and B.F.A. degrees in Fine Art, Applied Arts, and Art Education, and an M.Ed in Art Education. There are five studio areas of concentration - Ceramics, Painting, Photography, Printmaking and Sculpture; the two applied arts areas are Graphic Design and Interior Design. The Art Education options are a B.F.A certification and Initial Certification. The B.F.A is a major degree; those students choosing a B.A option must also choose a minor degree area.
