Internships
Every student within the Department of Art is afforded the opportunity to participate in internships at public and private companies. These internships give students the opportunity to sample future careers in various areas within the context of art: graphic design, interior design, photography, museum and gallery, etc. Internships earn varied amounts of credit depending on the length and intensity of the experience, and in many cases also provide modest income. Internships provide an important link between the University and the community, and are a crucial factor in the extended preparation of our students for meaningful careers.
