Slide Library
There are pictorial resources available for student and faculty research and classroom use. The Department of Art has developed a database of digital images that are placed online, drawing from the collection of slides in previous use, and from various other sources related to current teaching needs. This now contains about 9500 images, and continues to grow.
In addition, the Ingram Library now subscribes to ARTstor, a million-image digital library for scholars of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences. This library subscription provides a broad base for the more specialized and detailed collection within the department.
Both databases are pass-worded for reasons of copyright, but are accessible for your educational use. For access to the departmental resources, you will need to ask a faculty member for log-in instructions, while the ARTstor collection is available from the campus network where all library holdings and the Galileo resources are obtainable.
