About Me
I have been at the University of West Georgia for 21 years and am currently the Chair of the Media and Instructional Technology Department. I am a full Professor and teach instructional technology classes through distance technology using WebCT Vista. I enjoy being able to provide distance students with an opportunity to receive an education who have time and/or distance constraits.
I am married to Dr. Tom Davidson who is Professor Emeritus at the University of West Georgia in Early Childhood, Children's Literature, and Middle Grades Education. He enjoys working on antique cars and going to car shows with "Old Yellar."
We both love animals and now have three cats and two bouviere dogs who are growing up quickly. This picture is of myself, Phoenix, and Sedona when they were just puppies.

One of my favorite parks in the West is Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. They have beautiful natural arches located throughout the entire park. The Double Arches and the Balancing Rock is an impressive rock formation is below.

My research interests are in the areas of distance education focusing on distance mentoring, leadership, and effective practices utilizing new and emerging technologies. I am also interested in studying the effective integration of technology into the curriculum.
