RCOB Student Organizations
 
Accounting Club is organized by students for the purpose of providing those with an interest in accounting the opportunity to learn more about the profession. Our goal is to provide information about the field of accounting and the alternatives within it. We do this through academic and social activities. There are several functions each semester including: Speakers to introduce you to the many careers that accounting majors can follow such as those in industry, academia or with public accounting firms, as well as seminars on career development.
 
 
Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest academic honor that the Richards College of Business bestows. An invitation to join is based on grade point average and is only offered to the top seven percent of second-semester juniors, top ten percent of seniors, and top twenty percent of graduate students with majors in the RCOB.
 
 
Finance Club is open to Finance Majors and all students who are interested in finance, banking and investments. Activities of the Finance Club include: organizing lectures and discussions about topics of current interest, field trips to companies in the finance industry, helping members prepare for the job market, resume preparation, networking, and career information
 
 
Management Club is an excellent opportunity to meet and network with those that are entering into the same field as you, to stay on top of current events that affect managers today, and to show a professional interest in your line of work.
 
 
M,I.S. Club The mission of the MIS Club is to encourage professional development and increase exposure of students to the MIS field beyond the classroom. The MIS Club actively promotes MIS education and acquaints members to IT professionals in the industry. The MIS Club provides its members with experiences to help them be successful in the IT industry.
 
 
Marketing Club is open to all Marketing majors as well as any students who are interesting in the field of Marketing. Membership provides tremendous advantages in furthering Marketing knowledge, networking with alumni and local business leaders, and preparation for the job market.
 
 
SIFE is an international organization that mobilizes university students around the world to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. More than 30,000 students participate in SIFE. They represent 1,500 universities in more than 45 countries. Support is provided by hundreds of leading companies from around the world. SIFE students form teams on their university campuses and develop community outreach projects that equip others with the knowledge and skills to achieve greater economic success.
