I am a tenured associate professor (see vita) in the Department of Mass Communications and Theatre Arts at the University of West Georgia. I completed my Ph.D. in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida (GO GATORS!). My research interests include media literacy, mass communication education and the social effects of television.
