All payments made for membership to the campus center are non-refundable payments.
Use of the Campus Center game room and fitness facilities (fitness center, aerobics rooms, basketball courts, track, and climbing wall), is normally restricted to Campus Center members. Members must present a valid UWG ID or a valid guest pass in order to use the facilities. These policies are in place for your safety and the safety of all the students at UWG. The following memberships are available:
Enrolled Students - Currently enrolled UWG or Georgia Highlands ATP students who have paid the Campus Center fee are automatically Campus Center members.
Faculty/Staff - UWG faculty/staff with a valid ID are eligible to purchase a Campus Center membership for $100.00 per semester ($275 per year). Faculty and staff may purchase a monthly membership for $30.00. A monthly membership is not payroll deductible.
Spouses/Partners of Faculty, Staff, and Students - Spouses/partners of faculty, staff and students are eligible to purchase a Campus Center membership for $100.00 per semester ($275 per year). Spouses/ partners of faculty, staff and students may purchase a monthly membership for $30.00. A monthly membership is not payroll deductible.
Dependents of Faculty, Staff, and Students - Dependents who are 16 years old or older are eligible to purchase a Campus Center membership for $50.00 a semester ($150 per year). Dependents can utilize the game room and fitness facilities from 4 p.m. on Friday until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. They must be accompanied by a faculty/staff or student with a current membership to the Campus Center. Members must have direct supervision of their dependents at all times.
UWG Students Summer Membership - UWG students who were enrolled spring semester at UWG, are in good standing with the university, and will be enrolled fall semester at UWG may purchase a Campus Center membership for the summer semester for $100.00.This application form is only available at the Campus Center Administration Office. This membership is only available for Summer Semester.
UWG Retirees - UWG retirees are eligible to purchase a Campus Center membership for $100.00 per semester ($275 per year). Retired faculty and staff may purchase a monthly membership for $30.00.
Aramark Employees - Aramark employees may join the Campus Center with a valid UWG ID. They will not be allowed to do payroll deduction but can purchase their membership in the Campus Center Administration Office. The membership for the semester is $100.00 or they may purchase a monthly membership for $30.00 per month.
Spouses and dependents of Aramark employees may purchase memberships as well following the guidelines in the membership policies.
Honorary Members - UWG reserves the right to award honorary memberships to individuals who have made significant contributions to the university.
Guest policy - Current members are allowed to bring one guest (age 16 or older and who is not a UWG student, faculty/staff member) per day, at a cost of $5.00 per day. Guests may not check out equipment. Members must check out and be responsible for equipment used by guests. Members will be accountable for the conduct and/or damages as a result of the sponsored guests. Students who are participating in Intramural games in the gym who wish to have their parents at the game they are participating in must register them at the Campus Center desk prior to the game. This is only for Intramural games; otherwise guests must follow the guest policy.
Adults (aged 18 and over) who are participating in a UWG conference or camp may purchase a guest membership for $5.00 per day or $15.00 per week.
Conference sponsors may arrange for 16 & 17-year-old conference participants to use the game room and fitness facilities for a designated time period, for a fee to be negotiated. Conference sponsors must provide adequate supervision of participants.

Visiting University Student
Any student who is enrolled in another university and is home for the summer in Carroll County may purchase a visiting student membership in the Campus Center. You must provide a valid University ID from your home University to qualify for the membership. The cost is $100.00 for the summer semester. This is only available during the summer semester.
Loss of membership privileges may be revoked for the following reasons (list subject to change and not an all-inclusive list)
- Double swiping of UWG ID card
- Entering Facility from an illegal entrance
- Using someone else’s ID card to enter facility or giving your ID to someone else to use
- Propping doors open using yourself or use of a foreign object
* Failure to comply with policies may result in loss of privileges without reimbursement or waiver of the fee paid. Admission to the Campus Center is a privilege, not a right, and UWG reserves the right to remove and/or ban members and guests from the Campus Center if, in the university’s sole discretion, such members or guests are disruptive or believed to have violated University policies.
The Control Desk Staff have the authority to enforce all of the policies for the Campus Center and the University while you are in the Campus Center. Failure to listen to them or adhere to what they say will result in you being asked to leave the facility and and may result in Public Safety being contacted.
