There are many opportunities to participate in the TNR process. Some of the possibilities include; donating or lending traps and carriers, vet visit drop-offs and pick-ups, and monitoring set traps.
Once the cats are release, we take on the responsibility for monitoring and caring for these felines. Stationary feeding stations are set-up throughout campus. We will need assigned caretakers to ensure the feeding stations are filled with cat food and water at daily at least once daily. Bowls should be filled at or around the same time each day. The cats will quickly learn this routine and provide the caretaker an opportunity to also ensure their health.
Maintaining a colony is one of the best ways to get to know these creatures and can be one of the most rewarding aspects of the program.
