Once Carol Goodson began working as an Off-Campus Services
Librarian, she wished that there was a scholarly journal which
published articles dealing with the kind of work she was doing.
She considered the possibility of starting a paper/print publication
herself... BUT she had NO experience... and, she doubted that
her institution would be willing to provide the necessary financial
support.
But in 1996, she got an article published in an
electronic journal at SUNY Buffalo. The whole
process was impressively fast and easy--
and the answer became obvious: an e-journal
was definitely the way to go...
