PROBLEMS still to be solved

                 ?  scheduling of issues has been shaky

                 ?  should JLSDE have “departments” and/or “think pieces”

                 ?  will past issues be archived forever

                 ?  journal needs indexing

                 ?  what about translations, non-English articles

                 ?  institutional costs involved:
                        computer use... staff time...

                 ?  should we consider charging subscribers

                 ?    tension among editors:
                        some want mostly research articles but others think JLSDE
                            should be more practical
