The department, with the assistance of the  Chemistry Club, host yearly chemical demonstration shows presenting the principles of chemistry through fun, entertaining, and interactive means.  Many local elementary, junior, and high schools have crossed through the chemistry department doors to discover the world of chemistry which is all around us.
