The Spring 2012 Mid-Term exam covers Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

Note, your exam may be different than the previous exams in that it covers Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

Your exam will be in the similar in format to the sample exams.  There will be a closed book portion followed by an open book portion. The closed book portion covers concepts portions of Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.  The open book portion covers the calculations from Chapters 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

The rough breakdown of your exam will be Chapter 1 = 7%, Chapter 2 = 4% concepts and 16% calculations, Chapter 3 = 7% concepts and 10% calculations, Chapter 4 = 7% concepts and 6% calculations, Chapters 5 = 7% concepts and 7% calculations, Chapters 6 = 7% concepts and 15% calculations.  The Essay question is 10% of your grade, you turn in the Essay question online.

In creating your exam, I will use a combination of past exams, WEBCT quizzes, and end of chapter questions and problems.

Open book means you may bring any type of printed outside material that you fill will assist you in completing the exam. This includes, but is not limited to, old exams, quizzes, textbooks, class notes, previous student’s class notes, mystery novels, I ching, etc.
