I Am West Georgia
Wolfie
Years at UWG: Two.
My job title: Mascot Extraordinaire.
What I really do: Run with the Pack.
Birthplace: Wolf Creek, Ohio.
Family: About 10,677 pups. That includes my extended family.
People describe me as: A real howl.
My favorite things to do: Visit the Wolf Portal, wake up to the Morning Wolf Show on 99.5 and howl at the full moon.
My proudest accomplishment: Huffing and puffing and blowing houses down.
My passion: Cheering on students, faculty and staff.
My pet peeve: People who cry wolf.
Before UWG, I: Modeled for National Geographic.
I joined UWG because: They have a great benefits package. I’m getting long in the tooth.
I stay because: I have a big Fang Club.
One thing I would change about UWG: I would buy red capes for the cheerleaders and the Sound that Lights the South.
The best advice I ever received: How to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
The best advice I’d give to new faculty and staff: Take voice lessons from Fred Richards.
When I was a child, I wanted to be: The bass player for Steppenwolf.
Most people don't know that: I’m running for president this fall semester.
My favorite quotation: “Pork—the other white meat.”
The book I think everyone should read: “The Call of the Wild," "Where the Wild Things Are" and Ginsberg’s “Howl and other Poems.”
The movie I think everyone should watch: “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”
My favorite memory: Sweeping the Blazers in basketball this year. Sweet!
The person (alive or dead) I’d most like to meet: Wolfman Jack.
What I would most like to have if castaway on an island: Three little pigs. I’m such a ham.
What I would do if I won the lottery: Build my new Wolves Den.
What I most want to contribute to students: A sense of pride in themselves and in West Georgia.
Although you didn’t ask, I’d like to tell you anyway: I saw a werewolf drinking a Pina Colada at Trader Vic’s. His hair was perfect.
