PeopleDonated Book to Ingram Library Adds Volumes to Shelves
Dr. Javier Hasbun, professor of physics, donated a copy of his book titled “Classical Mechanics with MATLAB Applications,” to the Ingram Library. The first of its kind, the textbook is suitable for upper level classical physics courses and combines traditional analytical methods with modern computational approaches. The text is designed to enhance a student’s understanding of the subject by adding the capability to visualize important aspects of natural phenomena. Authors who donate their much loved and researched published works have a photo taken with Professor and Director of University Libraries Dr. Lorene Flanders, which is then used to publicize their work and the library. Mo Music for the Madding CrowdHats off to ITS for acquiring an agreement to provide free and legal music downloads to students. Faculty and staff can benefit from this agreement also with two different contracts, one free and the other for $8.99 a month.
