Faculty and Staff Honored

Service pins were awarded to faculty and staff in recognition of their years of service to West Georgia at the spring general faculty meeting in May. The annual awards for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and even 40 years of service are made possible by contributions to the University of West Georgia Foundation. MORE

Pub and Print Receives Accolades

Pub and Print Receives AccoladesThe Department of Publications and Printing, won eight Print Excellence Awards in the state’s annual Printing Industry Association of Georgia competition.

The PIAG Print Excellence Awards competition is the state printing industry’s oldest, largest and most prestigious graphic arts awards program. Winning entries were selected from 1,135 entries submitted by 59 print and graphic arts companies. MORE

 

COE Hosts Annual Learning Festival

Hundreds of educators will descend upon the University of West Georgia campus for the second annual Learning Festival, a weeklong education conference for teachers in preschool through high school.
