CSO, TCPA Celebrate Young Musicians

The Carroll Symphony Orchestra and the Townsend Center for the Performing Arts at the University of West Georgia will present “Discover Music,” an exciting collaborative project of the CSO and the 2008 Young Composer Competition winners on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre. Faculty, Students Present Research at Geological Conference

Faculty and students in the Department of Geosciences at the University of West Georgia will present their research in Houston Oct. 5 – 9. Approximately 10,000 scientists will attend this first-ever joint annual meeting of the Geological Society of America, Soil Science Society of America, American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America and the Gulf Coast Association of Geological Societies. Medical Alliance Launches Scholarship

Members of the Carroll-Haralson Medical Alliance established a scholarship for students in the University of West Georgia School of Nursing that will assist non-traditional nursing students from Carroll and Haralson Counties. MORE
