PeopleRobinson Announced as Director of SBDC
Robinson started and operated a decorative painting business and a marketing company after spending 18 years in the information technology industry as a software developer and eventually as an Oracle database administrator. Her career path includes employment with the IBM Corporation, Bellsouth and Georgia Tech. During those years, she also worked as a technology research analyst for The Coca Cola Company and as a business consultant for Ross Systems, Inc. in the United States and internationally. After receiving her executive MBA at Colorado State University, she worked in management and project leadership for Sun Microsystems, Inc. and as a practice manager/accountant for a CPA firm before joining the SBDC. Robinson spent 6 years in Denver before moving back to Carrollton in 2002. She lives in Carrollton with her two dogs, Venus and Bella, and in her spare time enjoys practicing yoga, traveling and reading. Kudos

Donna Robinson has accepted the position of director of the Small Business Development Center at UWG. A native of West Georgia and an alumna of UWG, she worked with former director Jennifer Clenendin as a business consultant for 18 months. She brings her experience as a small business owner and expertise in information technology, management, marketing, accounting and small business operations to the position.
