While many were watching the VP debates Thursday evening, and even more arguing over who won, two of our students were cleaning house out west.

The team of Jim Schultz and Vince Binder, completed a perfect 7-0 record at the UNLV Round Robin held over the last two days. The Round Robin invitational consisted of the following participating schools:

• Cal-State University at Fullerton
• University of Central Oklahoma
• Emory University
• Idaho State University
• Kansas State University
• University of Texas
• University of Wyoming
• University of West Georgia
  
  

In the round-robin format, each school debates every other school. West Georgia defeated every other team. Additionally, Jim Schultz was recognized as the top individual speaker; Vince was recognized as the 6th place speaker.

The team of Binder and Schultz will stay in Las Vegas, competing in the UNLV Open Tournament this weekend.

So no matter if you're Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Green or Other, we can all unite tonight in support of OUR Debate Team!
