During her participation in the EL program, Fulkerson will travel to Denver in January for the 2009 ALA Midwinter Meeting and then to Chicago in July to present a project at the 2009 Annual ALA Conference. Participants chosen will take part in all aspects of the program and have the opportunity to serve on various committees, taskforces or workgroups upon completion of the program. The EL program, currently in its third year, enables more than 100 librarians from across the country to participate in project planning workgroups and allow them to serve the profession in a leadership capacity. Fulkerson
received sponsorship from the Georgia Library Association and will
continue to receive support from the association throughout her
duration in the program. For more information about the ALA or
the EL program, visit www.ala.org. Hazari and North also presented a paper,"Is the Tail Wagging the Dog? Student Perceptions of Wiki Technology" at the 73rd Annual Convention of Association of Business Communication Conference held at Lake Tahoe last month.
