Founded in 1947, the BCT has become one of America's largest professional theatres for young audiences and operates in a three-theatre complex in Birmingham. The children’s theatre produces eight shows seasonally giving the theatre a combined audience of more than 200,000 each year. With lyrics by Jean Pierce and music by Jay Tumminello, this timeless treasure from children’s literature is a magical journey for ages 2 to 92.
