A Bit of Sunshine

January can be a dark lackluster month and this year seems to be no exception. To help with the winter blues and the unusually high level of stress this month, several of our colleagues shared their vacation photos and memories. Putting UWG on the Map

Suzanne Durham, head of Special Collections at the Ingram Library, and UWG alum Emma Elaine Dobbs, have produced a new book on Carrollton scheduled to be released on February 8 by Arcadia Publishing. “Carrollton” features a photo essay of the city as part of a “Then and Now” series. Durham is donating her share of the proceeds to benefit the library. Colgate Retires with a Gift

Susan Colgate RetiresWhen the Advanced Academy first opened its doors, Susan Colgate was just finishing up her masters degree in psychology and worked as a graduate research assistant. Eventually she went on to accept a full time position as a student development specialist after receiving her degree in 1997. MORE
