Contributions sustain programming and outreach in the Townsend Center Professional Series. They also support the P.J. Hovey Live Art Scholarship Fund for art, music and theatre students. Sponsorship packages are on the TCPA Web page. Each package includes name recognition in the playbill, hospitality prior to the performance, priority seating for the performance, admission to the After Party, and salsa dance lessons at the TCPA in January. The Spanish Harlem Orchestra’s debut recording, “Un Gran Dia en el Barrio” (2002), was nominated for a Grammy as Best Salsa Album. The album won a Latin Billboard Award for Salsa Album of the Year. The Grammy win came for “Across 110th Street,” which was released in 2004.
