A grant of $40,600 was received to support the work. Professors Danilo M. Baylen, Judy Butler, Keith Hebert and Ann McCleary will visit the teachers in their schools and the group will unite for follow-up studies on three Saturdays during the coming school year. In addition, several teachers, and the four professors, will present at the Georgia Council for the Social Studies' annual conference that takes place in Athens in October.
